As someone who has been overly self-conscious, insecure and just uncomfortable in social situations my whole life, this was very relatable and hopefully something people can understand.

Though I’m sure your social media feeds are blowing up with word of Batkid as we speak, I’ve been glued to what might be this year’s best human interest story all day. A 5-year-old boy who was diagnosed with leukemia after barely a year of existing on this planet got his wish from the Make-A-Wish Foundation today, where around 10,000 San Franciscans banded together to turn the entire city into Gotham City, allowed him to be Batman for a day, and even set up various villain busts in different locals. Get ready for a lot of dust in the air.
