Imagine, if you will, the 90s cartoon DuckTales on acid.  A situation like that would be totally terrifying yet strangely compelling all wrapped into one colorful experience.  That’s kind of what one-man band Ducktails sounds like on first listen.  Matthew Mondanile, who also plays guitar for Real Estate, started Ducktails as his own psychedelic pop project and quickly gained a strong following for his nostalgia-infused beats and consistently memorizing drones.  After two successful LPs Ducktails is releasing Ducktails III: Arcade Dynamic early next year.  Check out the track listing below:
